The FM200 fire extinguishing system is a clean agent fire suppression system that uses FM200 fire suppressant. FM200 (chemically known as heptafluoropropane or HFC-227ea) is a colorless, odorless, electrically non-conductive gas used in fire suppression systems as a clean agent alternative to halons (such as Halon 1301).
It is typically used to extinguish Class A, B, and C fires and complies with the NFPA Standard 2001 for clean agent fire extinguishing systems. FM200 can quickly and effectively extinguish fires, is safe for use in occupied spaces, and leaves no residue.
