What is a kitchen fire suppression system?
Kitchen fire suppression system is designed specifically for kitchen environments and can effectively prevent fires caused by various uncontrollable factors. It is capable of quickly and effectively controlling and extinguishing kitchen fires. Whether it’s spontaneous combustion or accidental fires, kitchen fire suppression system act as firefighters, taking immediate action to suppress the occurrence of fires, reducing harm and loss.
The working principle of the kitchen fire suppression system
When a kitchen stove catches fire and the temperature reaches 183°C, the thermal chip melts (which does not melt under normal cooking temperatures to prevent accidental discharge), and the control valve actuates. The gas cylinder diaphragm ruptures, and the gas immediately pushes the fire suppressant through a pressure reduction device and specialized nozzles, ensuring stable spray pressure during the extinguishing process, which will not cause burning oil to splatter. The fire suppressant covers the surface of the kitchen utensils and reacts with the oil, quickly extinguishing the flames. At the same time, the suppressant is sprayed into the smoke flow to extinguish the fire; the entire process takes only 3 to 5 seconds.
When the device is activated, after the fire extinguisher has finished discharging, the valve automatically opens to cool the surface.The device can also be manually operated when a fire is detected, with the manual operation principle being similar to the automatic one.
